Panel 2. Ken stands in front of a hissing half stack. He wears a guitar on a strap. He says, "Solid state amps are all cheap junk. The only good amps are tube amps. You can really hear the electrons!"

Panel 3. Closer view of Ken. He says, "Unless you have one, you're not a real guitar player!" Visible behind him, peering up from the bottom of the panel from the waist up, the Mad Scientist prepares to sneak up on him.

Panel 4. The Mad Scientist surprises Ken, who drops his guitar. The Mad Scientist says, "You have a right to your opinion!" Ken says, "Bah! Sonova..." The Mad Scientist says, "But you have no right to make decisions about other people when your opinion is based on disinformation and negative prejudices!"

Panel 5. The Mad Scientist elbows Ken in the ribs, saying, "Get it? Huh? Get it? You see what I'm getting at here?"

Panel 6. We see them from farther back. The Mad Scientist is wearing cut-off jean shorts, knee high rainbow socks, and roller skates. He says, "I'm talking about queerphobes and their bigoted rhetoric! Surprise, you fool, this has been the pride month special all along!"

Panel 7. The Mad Scientist skates in a zig-zag, nearly hitting Ken, who shrinks out of the way. The Mad Scientist says, "Right now, queer people in the United States are facing an unprecedented spike in legal threats to their safety and dignity. Panel 8. The Mad Scientist speaks directly to the reader, hands on hips. "If your views are unfounded, at least have the courage to admit it! Accept that you live in the same reality as everyone else--then see if you still cling to your opinion. This is definitely about tube amps."
